Product Description:
Heywood-Wakefield’s Kohinoor bedroom furniture series takes its name from the famed Kohinoor diamond, today prominently displayed among the Royal Crown Jewels as the front piece in the Queen Mother’s Crown. The M 148 Kohinoor Nightstand’s fun, functional design conveys a similar feel, introducing a distinct elegance—as well as mid-century modern flair—into your room.

The curves and geometric shapes of this nightstand play off each other to create a unique, stylized look. Shown here in our Amber finish, it is beautifully hand-crafted in solid Northern Yellow Birch.  The drawer and roomy compartment offer maximum storage space while the piece features a minimized footprint.

Dimensions:
20″ W x 16″ D x 25″ H

  • Two centuries of experience

We started in a barn in Gardner, MA in 1826. 199 years later, we're still building furniture in Massachusetts. From inventing machines and techniques that changed the industry in the 19th century to making great modern design accessible in the 20th, Heywood-Wakefield has helped write the story of furniture making in America.

  • Quality that lasts generations

There's a reason so much vintage Heywood-Wakefield furniture is still around. Our materials, craft and engineering are of the highest level. Our pieces are passed down generations, continuing to perform and delight decades later. We're proud to carry on a tradition of exceptional New England furniture making.

  • An iconic design heritage

Some of the 20th century's most influential designers contributed to Heywood-Wakefield, including Leo Jiranek, Gilbert Rohde, Russell Wright, Count Alexis de Sakhnoffsky, and W. Joseph Carr. Our pieces are iconic, instantly recognizable and an important part of the modern design movement in America.

  • Great service (and free shipping)

We are a small company run by two families. When you order from us, you'll deal with real people who want nothing more than to impress you with the experience. You can call us for questions and advice (we're on EST) and we will happily help.

Oh . . . and shipping in the lower 48 is always free.
