Heywood-Wakefield is synonymous with the blonde color of Northern Yellow Birch, but as we enter our third century of making furniture, we want to try something different.
To celebrate, we’re building three of our favorite living room tables in one of America's most beautiful woods, Black Walnut.
The material
American Black Walnut's color ranges from golden brown to a rich dark chocolate. The beauty of the wood grain is protected by the same durable clear finish used on our birch pieces.
