Product Description:
Shown here in our Nile Blue fabric, the M 1553 C “Cat’s Eye” Dining Arm Chair conveys a playful elegance that perfectly embodies the mid-century modern aesthetic and Heywood-Wakefield’s hallmark style. It achieves so much character from a deceptively simple design, as well as a versatility that makes it simultaneously well suited to family life, entertaining, and formal dining. It was originally produced from 1956 to 1966.
Like all Heywood-Wakefield furniture, this dining room chair, shown here in our Amber finish, is hand crafted from solid high-grade Northern Yellow Birch to last for 100 years or more. Its slender profile is complemented by the sturdiest construction and long-lasting durability. The seat too is of top quality, made to resist sagging and shape distortion even over many decades of regular use.
