Product Description:
The Skyliner is a pre-WWII piece, introduced by Heywood-Wakefield in 1939. It’s one of those magical mid-century modern designs that seems to exist where “vintage” and “retro” meet. There’s no shortage of personality here, with a definite nod to the Art Deco style, and yet the stand achieves a versatility that allows it to assimilate with a wide variety of décor.
Between the top surface, the deep drawer, and the open space underneath, there’s a great deal of storage available relative to the piece’s compact footprint. While originally intended for use as a night stand, the Skyliner works well as a hallway, lamp, phone, or end table, too, and looks as appropriate in your home office, living room, foyer, or elsewhere as it does in the bedroom.
Like all Heywood-Wakefield furniture, this piece is hand-built from solid Northern Yellow Birch. It’s exceptionally sturdy and durable, while adding natural beauty to your living space. In addition, all surface area is well protected by our proprietary Amber furniture finish.
