The Biscayne Collection Club Chair has long been one of Heywood-Wakefield’s most beloved pieces. It’s a mid-century modern classic and a testament to the perfect blending of form and function, of simplicity and sophistication. The chair and ottoman make a distinct retro statement and offer an undeniably luxurious place to sit. 

Vintage productions did not include an accompanying ottoman, but we have now designed one to complete this seating set. The ottoman, like the chair, is available for individual purchase, or the two items may be conveniently bought in combination. 

The Club Chair is built for comfort and built to last. The frame is hand-constructed from gorgeous, solid Northern Yellow Birch. The reversible seat cushion contains high-density foam and Marshall-unit spring construction; the backrest cushion is solid foam. Each seat cushion is wrapped in Dacron and then in high-quality ticking before the fabric covers go on, and elastic webbing covered by a fabric deck forms the foundation. 

The Biscayne ottoman is similarly constructed to retain its shape and superior elasticity. Its height and width line up precisely with the chair, both items have the same distinctive feet, and the ottoman’s design otherwise meticulously reproduces that of the original chair.  

Stylistically speaking, the Biscayne Collection’s Club Chair and ottoman insert seamlessly into a variety of environments while adding class and character. Choose from an extensive selection of furniture fabrics to match your new seat to any room’s colors and patterns.

The ottoman can be configured in 51″ width for the CM 388 L Biscayne Love Seat or 78″ width for the CM 388 Biscayne Davenport. Our 78″ version features a 30″ central wood built-in coffee table with 24″ cushions on either side. Please call for details.
