Like all Heywood-Wakefield upholstered goods, our davenport M 962 is hand-built to last. The frame is 100% solid hardwood (birch or maple); the exposed wooden trim is 100% solid birch. We never use poplar or alder, woods you will find in lesser-quality upholstered furniture. The interior construction features 8-way hand-tied 9-inch coil springs for a traditional long-lasting quality feel; we never use “no-sag” springs.
