Tina and Rick have a smaller dining space with some vintage pieces and a lovely view of their yard. Our regular dining tables are too large for the space, and they had no need of a table that expands, so we built this custom table base on our M 789 G. Notice that it’s in one piece, and measures 33" wide x 55" long. Nice fit, wouldn’t you say?
Mara and her husband needed counter stools that were lower than our standard bar stool height, so we created these for her. They look great in her condo among her other vintage and new Heywood-Wakefield furniture. This is actually a customization we have done for a lot of people, as many folks have a counter or breakfast area that requires something a bit higher than a dining chair but lower than a bar stool.
Lynn loved our Margaret Davenport but didn’t have room for an 84" sofa, so we built a special one 64" wide for her. Note the custom two-cushion design. Here it is, just out of the delivery carton!
David chose a great fabric for his Biscayne Club Chair and Ottoman. Notice the careful alignment of the pattern in this fabric; the light-colored circles on the chair seat align perfectly with those on the ottoman. We’re very proud of our upholstery department. Notice also how well the chair and ottoman show against the fireplace surround.
Eva has a lot of vintage Heywood-Wakefield pieces, and she wanted some new seating to go with it, as well as tables for the seating. We built this Margaret Davenport and Biscayne Love Seat for her using stunning brown leather, and finished it off with new coffee and step-end tables.
John did a spectacular renovation of a loft and asked us to build some specific pieces to fit it, as well as using several of our standard items, and a couple with an interesting modification.
In pictures 6, 7 & 8, you’ll see our popular StyleMaster bed in queen size, flanked by two new M 395 record cabinets. John asked us to replace the interior shelving with drawers, so they could be used as night stands. Works very nicely!

Picture 9 shows a very clever use of our M 926 desk and one of our most significant customize jobs to date. The low railing is where the stairwell leads up to the loft; by lowering our M 532 Encore Double Chest from 46" high to 32", he was able to use it on one side and the desk on the other. The bottom has two full-length drawers with two smaller drawers on top. It looks great in this configuration.
The oval chair in pictures 10 & 11 is a vintage Heywood-Wakefield piece with one of our exclusive fabrics on it. We worked closely with John’s local upholsterer to get this chair and vintage ottoman (which is actually an old vanity bench) done to John’s standards. A very creative guy.
