Description: Like all Heywood-Wakefield upholstered goods, this chair is built to last. The frame is 100% solid hardwood (birch or maple); the exposed wooden trim is 100% solid yellow birch. We never use poplar or alder, woods you will find in lesser-quality upholstered furniture. The interior construction features 8-way hand-tied 9-inch coil springs for a traditional long-lasting quality feel. We never use "no-sag" springs. Each chair is hand-built to order.

We provide a wide choice of custom designer fabrics at discounted prices, but you are also welcome to supply your own fabric. The price shown for each Heywood-Wakefield upholstered piece does not include fabric but it does include all fabric installation and construction, whether you use our fabric or yours.

The Madeline Club Chair is also available without arms, as a sectional (one right-arm section and one left, with or without additional armless "fillers"), and in custom sizes. The "channels" in the chair are approximately six and one-half inches wide, so you can order a chair in the standard 33", or go up in increments of 6-1/2" for a custom-sized piece. Thus, any area in your home can be turned into a custom-built conversation area.
